Color blindness occurs when you are unable to see colors in a normal way, often happens when someone cannot distinguish between certain colors.Most people with color blindness are born with it.Congenital color vision defects usually pass from mother to son.Color blindness can happen when one or more of the color cone cells are absent, not working, or detect a different color than normal.The symptoms include:trouble seeing colors and the brightness of colors in the usual way,inability to tell the difference between shades of the same or similar colors.There is no treatment for congenital color blindness.

Turning Points:

Whilst at university Nelson Mandela became increasingly aware of the unjust nature of South African Society.The majority of Black South Africans had little opportunities either Economic or Political.  


- By the late 50s the S.A.state had become increasingly repressive making it more difficult for the ANC to operate.Mandela had to resign from the ANC and work underground

However in 1960 the Sharpeville massacre of 63 black South African’s changed the whole political climate.

South Africa was increasingly isolated on the international scene and the government banned the ANC. This led Mandela to advocate armed struggle through the Umkhonto we Sizwe (MK).


However by 1962 Mandela had been arrested and sentenced to life imprisonment in the notorious Robben Island prison. Life at the prison was tough and uncompromising.


- eventually led to Mandela’s release in 1990.

-  lost his eldest son to this disease and Mandela has worked hard to campaign on this issue.)


Achievements:



- finish his degree and qualified as a Lawyer.

-  opened the first Black Law firm in South Africa.

- In Treason Trial Mandela and several other  conducting their own defence they eventually proved to be victorious.

- the first democratically elected State President of South Africa on and was President until June 1999. 


 received many prestigious awards.


- was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize

  • yes, many people agree.

  • What happens when you click Facebook button?
  • It means agreeing to a whole bunch of thing.

  • Why are kids under 13 banned from most social media sites?
  • Because, you see everything you post or click on through the internet can potentially be stored and analysed. And used to sell you things or sold on to others. 

  • What is the reason for that restriction?
  • kids under 13 couldn't make an informed decision about what personal information they should keep private online. 

  • How some kids under 13 still use the sites?
  • By giving a false age.

  • What is the best way to protect children?
  • The best way to protect kids is to teach them from an early age how to stay safe and private online.
